15 Things You Probably Never Knew or Thought About
At least 5 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
You mean the world to someone.
If not for you, someone may not be living.
You are special and unique.
Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.
When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you believe in yourself, probably, sooner or later, you will get it.
Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.
Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know.
If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.

He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the LORD. (Proverbs 18:22 NKJV)
It's the biggest decision you can make aside from your choice to follow Christ. Whom you choose to marry will affect the rest of your earthly existence and impact the generations that follow from this union. This leads to a sobering and perhaps even a scary thought: What if I make the wrong choice? God's Word gives us some guiding wisdom when it comes to such an important decision: He who finds a wife finds a good thing.
The Hebrew word Solomon chose here for finds means 'to find something along the way.' When the Scriptures make reference to a person's way, it's usually describing the course or path that God has appointed for his or her life. The implication of this proverb is that a son or daughter of God will find a mate as he or she is walking along the path He has appointed. I've seen this lived out several times as faithful followers find Mr. or Mrs. Right while serving in ministry.
This is a stark contrast to the world's wisdom when it comes to meeting your mate. Men and women are forced into desperation mode as though everything rests on them. They have to look just right and be at just the right place at just the right time if they have any hope of meeting the right one. How exhausting and futile! It's far bet"

Gausman says techies who want to return at the same level should take no more than six months off. A break of one or two years means 'you're going to have to be willing to take a lesser position.'

Calvinism vs. Arminianism from Calvary Chapel Cheyenne
Calvinism vs. Arminianism
A Discussion of Doctrine
by Larry TaylorINTRODUCTION
God has, in these last days, raised up Calvary Chapel as a ministry of balance. Since its inception under the leadership of Pastor Chuck Smith, Calvary Chapel ministries have sought the Biblical middle ground between the extremes of Pentecostalism versus fundamentalism, emotionalism versus traditionalism, and Calvinism versus Arminianism. With respect to this latter debate, no final solution is possible. Great theological minds have debated the issues of free will versus the sovereignty of God for centuries without ever being able to reconcile the two. Arguing for one side at the expense of the other is foolish because it is by nature not provable, and therefore is an argument which no one can win. Humility demands that we bow in the presence of a God who is beyond our intellectual comprehension and confess the wisdom of Deuteronomy 29:29: "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever..."

WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE “WORD-FAITH” MOVEMENT?
Many popular evangelists are involved with “Positive Confession” or the “Word-Faith” movement. What’s wrong with this movement?
Some of America’s best known televangelists subscribe either partly or wholly to what’s commonly referred to as “positive confession,” the “Word-Faith” teaching, or the “prosperity” doctrine. Its chief representatives today seem to be Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Fred Price, Charles Capps, and Casey Treat, though there are certainly many other evangelists, teachers, and writers who promote this teaching.

been with us through many wars and conflicts; Your right
arm has saved us. We have
been amazingly and
graciously blessed.
Today, we confess our sin
of not responding to Your
right to rule in our lives and our nation. Too often we have
despised and rejected Your will while imposing our own, and we
are now facing the consequences
of our disobedience.
Draw us back to Yourself
that we may return to Your
ways once again.
Without You we can do nothing.
You have promised that if we
honor You, You will once again honor this great nation.
That is our fervent prayer.
For Your honor
and glory we pray,
Amen.

Harvest Crusades ::: Christchurch 2006
I'd like to welcome you the church to the Crusade Connection. It's our way of getting the body of Christ involved in what God is doing through the Harvest Crusades in 2006. Just one day from now, I'll be preaching the gospel to thousands of people in Christchurch, New Zealand, and I could use your prayers.
I believe your prayers go a long way. As the Bible says, 'The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results' (James 5:16 NLT). So if you could take just a few moments to pray for Harvest 06 in Christchurch, New Zealand, April 28–30, I know you will greatly impact the kingdom of God.
It is my prayer that you enjoy the rest of the Crusade Connection. It's designed to give you a behind-the-scenes glance at the Harvest Crusades. With each Crusade Connection you receive, you'll gain new insights into what takes place just days before a crusade. You'll also get to know the crusade staff as they share their experiences in serving God through the Harvest Crusades.

Too good not to pass on -- Good one ---- Tailgating (A VERY GOOD ONE!!!)
He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.
The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.
As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer.
The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up.
He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.
After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door.
She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.
He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Follow Me to Sunday- School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk.
Naturally... I assumed you had stolen the car.

Something every American should see.

This statue currently stands outside the Iraqi palace, now home to the 4th Infantry division. It will eventually be shipped home and put in the memorial museum in Fort Hood, Texas. The statue was created by an Iraqi artist named Kalat, who for years was forced by Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad. Kalat was so grateful for the Americans liberation of his country; he melted 3 of the heads of the fallen Saddam and made the statue as a memorial to the American soldiers and their fallen warriors. Kalat worked on this memorial night and day for several months. To the left of the kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the loss of his comrade in arms. Do you know why we don't hear about this in the news? Because it is heart warming and praise worthy. The media avoids it because it does not have the shock effectA flashed breast or the controversy politics does.
But we can do something about it. We can pass this along to as many people as we can in honor of all our brave military who are making a difference. And please pass this on!
from Eve of Berry Home Fellowship to her Prayer Partners
I am sorry but I am not breaking this one.....Let us pray.
Prayer chain for our Military and the people...please don't break it...
Please send this on after a short prayer.
Pray for the soldiers.
"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
"Dear God, protect the people so they can come to the knowledge of your Son. He died for Americans and all the other nations. Grant them favor. Take us out of our confort zone to make your will be done on earth. They are willing to give up their lives for a god. Give us the courage to give up our lives for the God, you My Lord. In return we will give you all the GLORY and the HONOR, in the name of Jesus who gave His life for all."
Prayer Request: When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for all people around the world.
This was sent to me to pray just for the American troops, but God wanted me to pray for all. What He does for one, He can do for others.

I don't know what the Jewish answer is, but I'm sure it's something other than, 'therefore, what I did is no longer bad behavior' -- or the Talmud could be a lot shorter.

And the common people heard Him gladly. (Mark 12:37 NKJV)
Jesus is the champion of the common man. When He walked this earth, He did not shut Himself up in an ivory tower. He walked the back roads and city streets of Israel just like everyone else. He didn't run in the A-list social circles. He was willing to rub shoulders with the lowest of the low, the world's Z-list. And He didn't talk in terms that only exceptionally educated people could understand; He spoke in the plain street language of His day. The religious elite had done an excellent job of distancing the average man from God, so you can imagine how refreshing it was as Jesus entered the scene, turning the religious system upside-down and putting God back within reach of the common folks. No wonder they heard Him gladly.
He was relatable to those He came into contact with, and we should be following His example. There are some Christians who feel their effectiveness as a witness is in direct proportion to their weirdness. They speak in King James English, carry around one of those mammoth coffee-table Bibles, and frequently incorporate references to 'the blood of the Lamb' and 'crucifying the flesh' into their casual conversations. That's not being a witness; that's being weird!

Kidnapped as a boy, Patrick was a slave for six years in pagan, druid Ireland. He miraculously escaped, only to dream years later that he must go back. By his death in 461, Patrick had founded 300 churches, baptized 120,000 believers, and his followers re-evangelized Europe.
This St. Patrick's Day will have new meaning for all who read this great book by William Federer.
It has been said that Patrick is one of the few figures in recorded history directly responsible for the completely non-violent religious conversion of an entire nation."

8 Reasons to Join a Support Group
Adapted from 'A Guide to Effective Rescue Mission Recovery Programs' by Michael Liimatta
1. In a support group, Christians in recovery can share their experience, strength and hope with one another. (Proverbs 15:22)
2. A good support group is a place where you will find true acceptance and a sense of what unconditional love is all about. (John 15:5-15)
3. A support group is a safe, non-judgmental setting where Christians in recovery can express struggles, thoughts, ideas, and feelings without fear of rejection. (Psalms 42)
4. A support group provides a safe environment for the risky experience of exploring and verbalizing emotions. (Galatians 6:2)
5. A healthy support group can provide sort of a 'family' atmosphere that stimulates the hope for a better life for all involved. (Jeremiah 29:11-14)
6. The best support groups practice a policy of strict confidentiality so that members can share freely without fear that others outside of the group will learn about their problems.
7. A good support group is a wonderful place for those in recovery to begin the difficult and painful process of re-connecting with other people.
8. A good support group will be a source of great hope and encouragement as we gain insights from becoming connected with others who"

Prayer Partners update 5/27/05 (cc)
Dear Prayer Partners,
I have some news. However please understand when the Lord moves He only means it for His good even if I am struggling with this news. After some prayerful reflection, I now see the Lord’s hand moving me to the next chapter. I have been doing a lot of reflecting lately because June 10th would have been one year as a volunteer to JAARS. I will be ending my affiliation as a volunteer.
I want to express my heart felt gratitude to the fellowship of friends at JAARS, for all of their emotional and spiritual support this year. I believe I have made some deep and life-long friendships there. Bonds like these will not be broken just because the Lord has called me to another ministry. Before arriving at JAARS, I prayed, “Lord, use JAARS to grow me.” The fellowship at JAARS helped me through many growing experiences. For that I want to give the glory to God and say to them personally, thank you.
I want to express my thanks to my roommates,

What is the next chapter? The Lord has given me some small hints. My pastor is suggesting a time of tent building. My primary supporter (prayer partner) is suggesting giving a greater priority to the completion of my Masters degree. Other ministry opportunities will always be there especially, at my church. On a personal level, Daryl Beltz, the Director of JAARS Public Relations, has invited me to participate in future Short Term Mission Trips with JAARS. If you care to support me financial on these trips then you may still send donations, please see below. My heart is still for Bible Translation as confirmed by the Lord on the last trip. I will be wrapping up loose ends at JAARS quickly. Please pray for my new direction.
I want to give a special word of thanks for all my Prayer Partners and for this year of encouragement and support. Your prayers made the Lord’s will in my ministry visible and obtainable.
In blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ,
Daniel K. “Dan” King

Please pray for my transportation needs in that our Mazda broke down on the Interstate. My roommate, Frank, and I are working through these repair issues together.
A second prayer request is for my financial needs. I have a significant need in monthly support to meet budgeted expenses. Secondly, although I had received several verbal pledges for my last mission trip, we have not had any more receipts. The outstanding balance is $900.00. Lastly, I had handed out the entire 100 prayer cards; to order more will cost $180.00 for 200.
