Chron.com | Bush Takes Muddy Bike Ride on Earth Day
Chron.com | Bush Takes Muddy Bike Ride on Earth Day: "'I still ride the mountain bike primarily to help settle the soul and to burn off the excess energy one gets when you're living life to its fullest,' Bush told an Associated Press reporter who accompanied him on the ride.
'We're able to enjoy the beauty without really disrupting the pristine nature of the place,' the mud-splattered president said after the 65-minute ride. 'It's a classic way for mankind to enjoy God's gift. Plus, we get some exercise.'"

WorldNetDaily: Alice Cooper's life as a Christian
WorldNetDaily: Alice Cooper's life as a Christian: "Cooper said, 'We have to make a choice. And everybody, at some point in their lives, has to make that choice. When people say, 'How do you believe this? Why do you believe this?' I just say nothing else speaks to my heart. This doesn't speak to my intellect, it doesn't speak to my logic -- it speaks right to my heart and right to my soul, deeper than anything I've ever thought of. And I totally believe it. That being said, I'm not a very good Christian. I mean, none of us are ever 'good' Christians. That's not the point. When you're a Christian, it doesn't mean you're going to be good; it means you've got a harder road to pull.'"

Jesus is watching you
A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his flashlight around, looking for valuables, and when he picked up a CD player to place in his sack, a strange, disembodied voice echoed from the dark saying, "Jesus is watching you." He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze. When he heard nothing more after a bit, he shook his head, promised himself a vacation after the next big score, then clicked the light on and began searching for more valuables. Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard, "Jesus is watching you." Freaked out, he shined his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice. Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot.
"Did you say that?" he hissed at the parrot. "Yep," the parrot confessed, then squawked, "I'm just trying to warn you!"
The burglar relaxed. "Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?"
"Moses," replied the bird. "Moses?" the burglar laughed. "What kind of people would name a bird Moses?" "The kind of people who named their Rottweiler "Jesus."

LIE DOWN WITH STRIPPERS, WAKE UP WITH PLEAS - Yahoo! News
LIE DOWN WITH STRIPPERS, WAKE UP WITH PLEAS - Yahoo! News: "This deep-seated societal fear of being accused of 'hypocrisy' applies only to behavior touching on morals.
But we're all rotten sinners, incapable of redemption on our own. The liberal answer to sin is to say: I can never pay this back, so my argument will be I didn't do anything wrong.
The religion of peace's answer is: I've just beheaded an innocent man -- I'm off to meet Allah!
I don't know what the Jewish answer is, but I'm sure it's something other than, 'therefore, what I did is no longer bad behavior' -- or the Talmud could be a lot shorter.
The Christian answer is: I can never pay this back, but luckily that Christ fellow has already paid my debt."

WorldNetDaily: What do you live for?
WorldNetDaily: What do you live for?: "The godliest people I know are real people. They love God. Their priorities are in order. Yet there is balance to their lives. Theirs is a practical faith, not a spacey, wild-eyed, one-taco-short-of-a-combination-plate kind of spirituality. It is this real faith that the Bible proclaims."
