Carolina IT Support Group meeting this coming Tuesday

Dear HCFC IT Folks,

This was a JAARS Classified Ad.

I'll be going to the Oropesa on this night.

However, I think this would be a great place to network with IT Professionals.

Blessings,
Daniel "Dan" K. King

Prayer Partners update 10/25/04 j

1. WBT Vision 2025 is “Scripture translation progress in every language that needs it by the year 2025.” Please embrace this vision with me. If the Lord wills, we can partnership to grow God’s Kingdom through Bible Translation and the technology required.

2. Please pray for JAARS Computer Technical Conference. Web link: J A A R S: Computer Technical Conference 2004. Over 300 are registered. I will be volunteering in the kitchen and prayer ministry. Also, please pray for an Open Forum on 11/5 for the Enterprise Help Desk project, which I began that assignment last summer.

3. Thank the Lord for His provision and your continue support. The Lord has provided for the car repairs and replacing my eyeglasses. This has allowed me to stay focused on my ministry.

4. Please pray for travel mercies as I am planning to visit New Jersey on Thanksgiving after the conferences.

5. Also pray for the Calvary Kids Club on our Mid-Week services at my local church. The crafts were a hit with kids. We have been teaching with a theme about missions. The JAARS Center has a great Resource Room for these crafts.

6. Praise the Lord I was able to sell the church organ on eBay to a man who buys organs and donates them to needy churches.

7. Please pray as I seek the Lord’s direction for possible Short Term Mission trips.

8. I appreciate your pray help for these ministry items.

9. Please note my new phone number, (704) xxx-xxxx.

Prayer Partners update 10/11/04 s

Dear Prayer Partners,

At the beginning of last summer, I said I would volunteer at JAARS for the summer then seek the Lord for the next step.  Now my venture of faith requires a new level of commitment.  My plan is to apply for membership with Wycliffe Bible Translators next summer.  I see a ministry opportunity to continue as a volunteer at JAARS until that time.

I am led to ask for your direct support with this ministry opportunity and to become a partner in it.  If the Lord leads you, then please send your contributions to my home church, Calvary Chapel of Hammonton, NJ.  This arrangement has been set up with the church if you could designate the checks to the ministry of Dan King.

In addition, I am also led to present to my donors my immediate expense needs.  I accidentally ran over my eyeglasses.  Estimated replacement costs and the exam is $320.  My counseling agency is asking for a $65 donation per session.  I estimate a need for 16 more sessions.  My auto repairs are forcing me to seriously consider replacing my car.   My brother has offered to assist me; however, I do foresee some expenses.

Next week I will be updating you with my assigned project at JAARS.

Blessings,

Daniel K. “Dan” King

Prayer Partners update 9/12/04 js

The matriarch of my home church in New Jersey went home to be with the Lord. Please pray for us in the grieving. We all know her deepest desire would have been to give God all of the Glory in this moment. Please pray for my pastor Vince and the Lombardo family to be comforted in the loss their mother.

Please for travel mercies if Lord wills I can go up to New Jersey for the services.
