I went to California for a two week vacation on July 5, 1977 and decided to stay. Mom mailed me this letter on August 26. In preparing Beth's eulogy, I found it a box labeled Memorabilia, that has been in storage for years. As reflected on it, I saw how my Mother's love was passed down to my sister. My heart was share my private letter as memorial to my sister's love, therefore it is now open letter. As I stood is the pulpit at my sister's viewing I read the letter was dated August 26. Mom wrote my letter 30 years to date and I almost lost it. Well, I did. Please continue to share our stories of love.
